Like my older sister, Sofia, who now competes for Eastern Washington University, I excel at sprints and sprint relays. I love running track, especially the relays, because it is both an individual sport and a team sport. It is also mentally the toughest sport, because you have to drive yourself. I enjoy training while also hanging out with friends, I am very proud of the way I have been preparing for big races, trying to always gain an edge over an opponent. My hobbies include listening to music, working out, etc. My favorite school subject is science. My current personal bests are 21.48 in the 200 meters and 48.41 in the 400 meters. 2017 was a great year for me, athletically. At the Simplot Games I was part of the winning 4x200 relay. Outdoors I was the district champion in the 200 and 400. At State, I got 2nd in 200, 3rd in 400, and 4th in 100. My goal is to compete in Track and Field at a PAC 12 university and to study sports management. |
