I started running competitively in the 4th grade for St. Matthew Lutheran School, but took a brief break after 2 years to explore a promising modeling career. When I returned in the 7th grade I rediscovered the love and passion I had for the sport, but it was while attending the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2016 that my fire was ignited. Although I spend a lot of time on the track, I also love to watch movies with my family, hang out with my friends, play basketball, swim, and work as a part-time model for TCM. On the track I compete in the 100m, 200m, 400m and the relays. Although I will be attending and competing for a public school this year, private school has been the only experience I have had. As a freshman competing for Northwest Christian High School, I was blessed to have the opportunity to compete at the State meet and place 4th in the 100m, setting the school record and placing 3rd in the 200m. Track and Field is in my blood and like blood, I need it for survival as I live and breathe for the opportunity to compete. The glory of competing for Spokane Speed Academy comes from the 3 Ds - Dedication, Determination and Desire for success! Working with this amazing program I am one step closer to achieving my goal of attending my own U.S. Olympic Trials as an athlete and not a spectator. |
