I am 14 years old and the 3rd oldest of 4 boys in my family. I have been competing in track since 7th grade and this is my first year competing with Spokane Speed Academy. After having a brain tumor removed at the age of 11, I thought I would never play sports again. But track was the one sport that allowed me to be able to have fun with my peers and push myself to the best I can be. My favorite part of participating in SSA is having such great coaches to help me step out of my comfort zone and push me past my limits. One of my goals in track is to go to Nationals in 2018; in the meantime my goal is to work on improving my form. Some of my goals in life are to become an actor or an animator and to start a family someday. |
