She started as a distance runner for Spokane Mercury Athletic Club. In 2013 Naomi qualified and participated in the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships for the 1500 meter run. She now focuses on the middle distance races (400 meters and 800 meters). Representing Sacajawea Middle School, Naomi won the 800 meter run and placed second in the 400 meter dash at the GSL Middle School All City Championships in 2017. Outside of track and field, Naomi enjoys creating movies with her friends, photography, and playing with her dogs, Jazzy and Pepper. |
