Born in Landstuhl, Germany, Keondre’ Vashawn Harris [DOB: 11/28/2000] will enter his sophomore year at Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane this Fall.
My Dad is prior active military and is currently retired and he is from Albany, GA. My mom is from Spokane, WA and is an Eastern Washington University Alum. I have an older brother named Rishode who graduated from Lewis and Clark and ran track for them as I have. I have a little sister named Amarissa who is 13 years old. Besides running track, I also play basketball. Outside of track I attend a morning basketball camp to help with dribbling, shooting, passes, defense, footwork, and form. Two of my favorite athletes in the NBA are Stephen Curry and Allen Iverson. Though I play basketball, I really enjoy Track and Field. My favorite track athletes are Usain Bolt and Carl Lewis. My events in Track and Field are the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x4 Relay and on our High School team, the 4x1 Relay also. Track helps me excel and stay very active and fit. One of the reasons I run track is for the speed and endurance. Spokane Speed Academy is the team I am currently running for outside of my regular High School . I really enjoy my teammates and coaches, they help me strive to be great. I am proud to have qualified for this summer's National Championships. After High School I plan on attending college. There are two colleges I am seeking to attend one being EWU here in Washington state and the other is University of Kentucky. My third choice is University of Oregon. I work hard with my studies and with sports; my current GPA in High School is 3.5. |
