Being one of five kids has made her very competitive growing up. In 7th grade, Anne began participating in track and field. She runs both the 100 and the 300 meter hurdles, as well as the 200m and the 4x400 relay. In addition to competing in track, Anne also plays basketball. Though most of her time is committed to athletics and academics, in the summer she also works as a lifeguard. She feels that competing and practicing with the Spokane Speed Academy is a great opportunity to become faster and to train with great athletes. Because she hopes to continue running track in college, going to Nationals would be a great experience. |
