I like the challenge of competing against other people, most of them older and taller than I am. I participated in gymnastics for 6 years until I started playing soccer, this being my 8th year. The past 4 years I have competed at some of the highest levels, including starting for my high school soccer team, playing in the top PSPL (the Puget Sound Premier League in Washington) for my club team, and being selected and playing for both the Eastern Washington Elite Player Development and Montana Olympic Development travel teams. I have also always loved running and decided to take part in track and field in middle school, where I won all-league events in 7th and 8th grade in high jump, long jump, 100m and 200m. In high school last year as a freshman, I qualified and placed in districts and regionals in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay and 4x200m relay. I made it to state in the 4x100m and the 4x200m relays. I have always been on the honor roll and this year received scholar athlete awards in both soccer and track. I currently maintain a GPA of 3.88 in both regular and honors classes. With the little free time I have away from sports and training, I enjoy swimming, spending time with animals, and vacationing with my mom and dad. |
